Drudkh ist eine 2002 gegründete Black Metal-Formation aus Kharkiv, Ukraine, die häufig auch als Ambient oder Atmospheric Black Metal beschrieben wird. Die Band thematisiert Naturverherrlichung und slawisches Heidentum. Viele Texte sind von ukrainischen Dichtern aus dem 19. Jahrhundert inspiriert, besonders von Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko. ‘Drudkh’ bedeutet ‘Baum/Holz’ in romanisiertem Sanskrit. Ihr siebtes Album namens „Microcosmos“ erschien am 22. Juni 2009.
Die politische Einordnung Drudkhs gestaltet sich bestenfalls schwierig; in ihren Liedern befinden sich keine Anzeichen einer Verknüpfung mit der NSBM-Bewegung, derweil einige Bands, in denen die Mitglieder vormals spielten, offen nationalsozialistischen Inhalt haben. Die Kassettenfassungen ihrer Alben werden von Oriana Productions herausgegeben, welches als NSBM-Label zählt.
Nach Presseangaben vertritt die Band den Stand der konservativ revolutionären Bewegung, einer Geisteshaltung von anti-demokratischen, anti-liberalen und anti-kommunistischen Elitisten und ‘Intellektualisten’ gegen Ende der Weimarer Republik der 1920er.
Eines ihrer Lieder verehrt die ukrainische Nationalistenmiliz, die im zweiten Weltkrieg sowohl die Kommunisten als auch die Nazis bekämpfte.
Wie diese Daten zu deuten sind ist schwer zu sagen, da die Band keine Interviews gibt und nur in seltenen Fällen Liedtexte druckt.
