To me, it's an excellent album. Tagging it as "epic fail" is pretty inaccurate. There's albums out there by bad artists who deserve that tag.

the Epic fail tag is a little much, yea they stopped playing death/thrash, stop being so butt hurt and realize this albums actually pretty great

Criminally underrated. This album is killer. I found it awesome when I first listened to it. Maybe you gotta listen to it more and more. It will grow on ya. I'm totally into Epidemic of Violence more.

the 2 predecessor albums took time to grow on me, but this album almost hooks me in immediately. i guess it's probably because i am more familiar with groove metal than say, death/thrash metal

Demolition Hammer only released two full length albums. (Tortured Existence, Epidemic of Violence) Anyone that says otherwise is lying.

Man, I mean that Steve Reynolds sounds really with FEEL, he sounds very INSPIRED as he sings of something really painful and personal to him. I say emotional not in the context of gay emo, because I simply don't care about THEIR emotions and THEIR personal shit. But I do care about Steve's. And so do the guitarists — their riffs are also full of feelings, though they are primitivistic groove, and not fuck-your-cunts-with-a-spork riffmonsters. The album is not sellout or deceit at all, just a step away from brutality and closer to personality.

Not atrocious, but not Demolition hammer. Would've been perfectly acceptable under a different name, but as usual the label has to fuck it all up...

I can't say this is bad album. Of course, this is not the Epidemic of Bloodufcken Violence, but songs are very emotional, the vocalists sings like all this stuff is very personal to him and it seems to be so.
