will95will no deerhoof album is easy to get into, in my opinion, other than possibly the runners four. after breakup song, i'd suggest friend oppurtunity or deerhoof vs evil - in terms of similarity. my favourite is reveille, but that's very different to the latest album.

briofigaro "What other albums of theirs would you all recommend?" - probably Friend Opportunity, Apple O and Green Cosmos. I believe they're, in just that order, most compareble with Breakup Song. And they're all great, and "easy" to get into! Friend Opportunity's definitly a good start.

diehappyx33 So, the new album is currently blowing my mind. This is such a unique take on "indie rock" or whatever you want to call it. I have neglected Deerhoof for way too long mainly because I know so many other bands with the name "Deer" in them (Deerhunter, Deer Tick, etc.). Stupid reason, I know. What other albums of theirs would you all recommend?
