The band Deadbeat Hero first appeared in 2007 and has played with the current lineup since early 2009. Their goal: to bring something new to the same-old hardcore genre.
Locked within the walls of Ghost City Studios in 2009, they recorded their first EP, Help, which would go on to be praised by the likes of Metal Hammer, Ox Magazine, new-core.de and the-pit.de.
During the next year, Deadbeat Hero won first place in the regional band contest, „Rock In Oberfranken“ and had the chance to tour in Spring 2011 throughout Southern Germany.
The guys from Deadbeat Hero ventured again into the halls of Ghost City Studios to record their second EP including newly developed and innovative sounds. A new mix of Hardcore came to light. One track from this recording („Manifesto“) was developed into a music video.
On March 16, 2012, Deadbeat Hero released „The Evil Rock Machine,“ their second EP, playing to a sold-out house. Both the CD release concert and the new album provided the showcase for their new mix of genres.
