DARK ORANGE are in the studio to record their next album which should be out in spring 2012 on Kalinkaland-Records again. This will be a limited special edition with an extra remix-CD from artists who have been important for the Band since they started in 1989…people like Harald from Chandeen, Robin Guthrie, Mark Tibenham and Steven Burrows from And Also The Trees, Shoegazerband Malory and many more will be there…more information soon.

Dark Orange are today Katrin-Elna, Dirk Odu, Steven Burrows on bass and Brigadier Wolff from Berlins Patenbrigade Wolff.

DARK ORANGE released their album „clouds, paperships and fallen angels“ in May 2010 on Kalinkaland-Records. Guest musicians like Emer and Steven from Englands „And Also The Trees“ and Brida Garland and Jan Ross from Mexicos „Morfeo Speaks“ will give some wonderful additonal colours. The final sound of the album will be done by Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins). More on http://www.myspace.com/darkorange


DARK ORANGE is at present both a Hamburg, Berlin and Florida based band. They were one of the first “Heavenly Voices” Bands from the cult label “Hyperium” in the early 90s. After 15 years working on other projects, Katrin Elna and Dirk Odu decided to make a reunion of Dark Orange in 2008 with some new bandmembers.

DARK ORANGE just finished their schallzentrale studio session in march 2009. There are plans to do another session in autumn and to release a new dark orange-cd by themselves or a small record company still to find.
