yoeah, maybe youre right. but I guess it comes down to preferences.. german food may not be the best, just to point out one example, but they always fulfilled my vegan needs and all that. being on tour isnt always easy for me. but also belgium and holland were at least satisfying to me. but I understand, that its sometimes hard for americans here. they're used to other stuff.

Open your eyes and look north is just, amazing, I can't get over that song at all. The strength of Jonny's voice is amazing when he sings "Watch this turn to dust / I won't know when you've fallen", aswell as the verse before... <3 Although, some of the lyrics in that song confuse me, I can't for the life of me settle on 'correct' lyrics haha... Ah well, seeing you guys in Feb 2010 <3

i'm not comparing the UK to the rest of europe, we also went to germany, france, holland, and belgium. the best meals may have been in germany, but even most of those were horrrible. you definitely don't eat nothing but pizza on tour, unless you consciously make that decision. america has the widest variety of food ever, and none of it's hard to understand or anything. america is very simple with huge variety, i like that.

just please dont compare the UK to the rest of europe... I guess eating disgusting stuff is something you have to get used to, while touring europe. its the same as getting used to be eating nothing but pizza, if anything at all, while touring the usa..

i personally like every song we've written together, we wouldnt waste our time writing and recording notes we dont personally enjoy. not to sound like a dick, but we dont do this for you guys, we do this for ourselves. we are 5 guys that love music and love creating and playing it. on that note, we could not continue doing what we love at this calibre if it wasnt for you guys, and we appreciate that more than anything. there's nothing better than having other people love and appreciate what you create. strawberry swisher 1 is definitely different than anything we've done, and we will continue doing weird songs like that because we are musicians, not some high school kids in a "screamo" band like most of the bands around these days. no offense, but this scene is DEAD. there aint shit going on musically. we all listen to weird music, and that will come out in our writing. for the record, "all along the watchtower" is a bob dylan song that jimi covered ;)

Shit dude. As a European, I totally agree. I mean wtf? Our trademark dish type thing is fucking fish and fried potatoes. I wanna live in America. D: I agree with what you're saying as well. Btw, I'm not sure why I'm asking you this, but do you personally like Strawberry Swisher Pt.1? I think it's very very different to your other stuff. And is the 'All along the watchtower' part a Jimmi Hendrix reference? xD

in short, i don't hate europe, i just hate your lack of culinary knowledge. growing up i never though my mom was an "amazing" cook and neither did she, but holy fuck, i would've killed for my moms cooking over there. she could open a restaurant there and be the best chef in the world. that's weird for me to think about. step up your game, guys. you don't know what you're missing. the part that tickled me the most, though, is that the fat people in europe are extra pathetic, because the food sucks and is supposedly healthier, so that means they have to eat more shitty tasting food to get fat, where as here, our food is so good, you cant really blame us if we get a gut...

i dont "hate" europe. why do people keep saying that. i just wasn't comfortable there, which i don't feel is that weird since i was pretty far from home in a place where i couldnt really understand anyone and there was nothing i was used to. it sucks going from somewhere like america where food is like a rainbow, and then going to europe where food is bland and more like the color grey. i dont know if people realize it or not, but a good meal will put you in a good mood, a bad meal can put you a bad mood. at one point in evolution, finding food was the most important thing, so anyone who claims i'm over-exaggerating, well, you're not human. as for the people, im not a fucking dick. i would never ignore anyone. i like people, except when they are stupid and annoying. there were legitimately a few dumb europeans who asked "i thought jonny craig was going to be here too?" we never get asked that in america, so lets kill that "dumb american" rumor, because i think europeans... nevermind ;)

Hey Zach, so you hate europe. Lol it's okay, but what about the people? When the kids in europe talk to you at shows do you ignore them or pretend you don't mind them or what? No offense, I'm just curious

chances are no, but maybe. the thing that sucks that none of you guys even think about is that kurt pretty much has to pick the setlist sorta, because he has the hardest job. his body is the instrument, so if he's belting his lungs out the entire time, there's a good chance he could either pass out or lose his voice, so we gotta try and work with that. to be fair, on the emarosa tour i think they only played 7 songs at the most and we played 11 at the most, so we gave it our all. back in the DBM days, we were playing 4 song sets a lot of the times on HEADLINERS, so anyone who thinks those were the "glory" days, yeah right.

No Happiness played soon? That's too bad, I think it's a dramatically underrated song. It's not even top 15 on these charts, fuck that. How about Carl Barker?
