Decent album in its own right. A Cradle of Filth album I'm not ashamed to say I like (unlike their painfully corny later stuff...)

@Schander, the title of the album is Dusk... and Her Embrace, three dots.

This album is a classic of the black metal tradition, gothic in lyricism, probably my favourite album cover of the BM genre but also features highly in my favourite album covers. It's not Scandinavian BM, they're English so give them a break kvlt-brigade. Funeral in Carpathia doesn't stand out to some fans of their later work but it's probably one of their best written songs. Shame about the drum mixing on the album too. [2]

@ NatassjaEternal: No, it's not. There's only one spot on the album (viewed from the top) where the title's written with dots... and that's actually FIVE dots, not three, so it's incorrect either way. Every other spot on the album, for both the album title as well as the song, are written WITHOUT the dots.

It's actually "Dusk... And Her Embrace". Probably their best album, btw.

You need to be ready to worship Dionysus to listen to this one. I love how the cheap synths manage to sound so damn pre-Christian. "The wine of Bacchus flows, listen to the thunder rage"

Their best album for sure, although I need to be in a certain mindset to sit through this to fully enjoy it. A masterpiece no matter the genre.
