Coco Love Alcorn wurde in Antigonish, Nova Scotia geboren & wuchs zwischen dort, Vancouver & Toronto auf. Sie ist eine kanadische Jazz , Folk & Improvisations Sängerin und ist die Tochter des Jazzmusikers John Alcorn.
Ihr erstes Album “ Coco Love Alcorn“ erschien 1995. Dann folgten die Alben „Happy Pockets“ (1997), “ 7 Coco Songs“ (2005), „Sugar (2006), „Coco Love Solo“ (2007) und „Joyful“ (2009).

Sie tourte oft als Eröffnungssängerin für Burton Cummings, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jesse Cook und Ani DiFranco.
Sie performte ebenfalls an einigen von Lilith Fair’s (von der Sängerin Sarah McLachlan gegründet) Konzerttourneen bzw. Festival (1997 - 1999) - ein auf dem ausschließlich weibliche Solokünstlerinnen und von Frauen angeführte Bands auftraten.

Ebenfalls ist sie eine Background-Vokalisting von 54-50 & ihr Musik erklingt auch häufig bei den TV Serien „The Dead Zone“ und „The L Word“.
