If anyone has watched Severed Ways, a movie about the first contact of the Vikings with american lands, this track was used as one of the soundtracks.

Anyone else find this strongly reminiscent of Oneohtrix Point Never? Especially the chiptune-like fuzzy synth throughout the first half, sounds like something straight out of Returnal.

Holy shit. Burzum has some amazing ambient tracks alongside his accomplished repertoire of black metal.

This is such an amazing piece of art! And i usually am not a big fan of ambient, but so far i like... or maybe i LOVE every ambient song by Varg i've heard, not to mention that his black metal songs are also perfect. The proper words for this exact song is majestic and haunting.

This may be an unpopular opinion but i have always preferred Burzum's dark ambience over his black metal. His black metal is good, great even, but i really dig his dark, atmospheric ambience. It's so relaxing

Some say that it's repetitive. But repetitivity and boredom are not necessarely synonymous. The repetitive aspect that we hear brings an hyponotic thing to the song which makes it really nice to listen to imo.
