Wow, that's some harsh criticism in the post below mine. I strongly disagree with everything said & know many people who feel the same. Perfect Blue is a song that has a Church sound to it, and it's a great sound, not a rip off at all. FF? Don't hear them anywhere in BNC's songs. And Falling Down, even tho it's a fave of mine by them, doesn't sound like BRMC, whom I also love to death & know all of their songs like the back of my hand.
The music is uninspired. Take the track "Perfect Blue", blatantly ripping off the drum line to the Franz Ferdinand hit "This Fire" or the track "Falling Down" which shows it's obvious love of the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Each track wears it's influences on it's sleeve and after 7 years in the Seattle music scene one would expect this band to have identified a sound unique to themselves. Instead what you find here is a band that's one small step above a cover band.
