some beautiful tracks on this but i can't understand the choice of final track - for me the 'jazziness' intrudes on the sylvan theme/ambience of the album

Magnifique.

Great stuff, glad I found this. I think j4m3sb0nd really summed it up pretty nicely

A very enjoyable album, thank you for sharing it, indeed. Hopefully it is not a stereotype to say that I found it quite empyriumesque and agallochian (I doubt this is a word) at times, as a compliment of its quality; both in the atmosphere of its sound and its composition. A soothing, yet intriguing and eerie arrangement is had from the layering of sounds amongst the songs, which creates quite a nice atmosphere - an especially attractive collection of elements to be had in a folk album, I think. This is quite an improvement since the earlier releases - where before the sound could be tighter, the gap seems to be well filled here. That said, I am somewhat ambivalent about the tracks with vocals here, they are not bad as such, and may offer some variation, but at the same time they do seem to appear a little suddenly amidst the style of the other songs - a very minor concern in regards to the overall effort though, though they do seem more like bonus tracks than part of the album itself.

On the new tracks, I found that the vocals jarred a bit with the style of the rest of the album. Not bad overall though.

Ambiance reposante, de belles cordes, et de jolis choeurs sur "The oak of wishes", une belle communion avec la nature.
