I agree with NationAstray. "No Dice", "Venice", "The Shrew", "My Night...", etc. are great tracks for wrapping up the album. I've always been a fan of "La Llorona" and downloaded the single instead of this entire release...Today, though, I ended up giving the entire album a full listen and totally got thrown for a loop with the electronic influences. Really brightened my day.

Holland is the superior of the two, imo. I can't really sit though March of the Zapotec.

I have listened to this album a lot in 2009 and seen a number of live performances on the internet. My feelings from March 2009 posting have changed. This double EP is excellent. No Dice and My Night... are the highlights. The album fits in really well with Condon's development. Come on a tour to the UK!

No Dice, Venice, The Shrew, My Night, The Concubine all amazing! I found it a bit disappointing at first but listen it over a couple times and these tracks jump out at you!

Parts of the second CD remind me of some of Broken Social Scene's ambient work, a la Feel Good Lost. Great stuff, in any case.
