And why not indulge in a little "get to know Kahht" quiz:
If I lived in the year 2100, my profession would be working with tiny gadgets and children with learning disabilities. I can only hope that as the military progresses their technological development to make war less harmful to mankind that something good will come. I hope what comes are ways to ease the integration of supposedly 'handicapped' people into society. Help them to function in ways that they can see themselves as human beings.
People watch TV because they are zombies. I don't know if the TV makes them a zombie as it consumes their brains or wether the zombies are just drawn to the mindless indulgence that is lights and sounds. Either way, I hate TV for the most part. Besides the educational, informative and thought-provoking programs I think most of what lies on the millions of channels we have is life-sucking.
I wonder about everything. There are few moments where I am not deep in though and creativity. It sounds a little conceited or self-absorbed... and maybe I'm exaggerating. I love wonder though. Socrates has a quote that goes, "wisdom begins in wonder," and although I cannot affirm that, I do think that wondering is an important and valuable activity to undertake.
My favourite candy at the moment has to be chocolate and yogurt covered fruits(aka bridge mix). Sometimes I leave the chocolate out and just have dried fruit. I like to trick myself into believing it is healthy. How I grin.
If you were a ghost, who would you haunt?
Sometimes I'm afraid to share songs that I write because I fear they may get stolen. But then, what's the point of writing a song? Most of the time I'm just afraid of being laughed at or ridiculed, which is far scarier than having something stolen. To put your heart on the line is true bravery. What does this have to do with ghosts. Well, "I wish I were a skeleton because skeletons don't bleed. I wish I were a hungry ghost because ghosts have no need."
The sexiest accent I listen to is the one of french girls when they're singing cold wave tunes.
I'd like to super size the love and understanding in the world. I think the two go hand in hand so it's not as if I'm asking for an extra wish or anything. I'd like to teach the world to listen. With listening comes understanding. It teaches patience.
The last sentence of my autobiography would read: "Hello! You haven't reached the end, you've reached the beginning of your own journey into the future."
What's your favorite blue food?
Does an eggplant count as being blue? Or are we talking emotions here? I think dragon fruit might be quite sad because most of the dragons are extinct. I've never had dragon fruit though. Kiwis are similar though, I like kiwis.
What food would you like to lick off someone?
Leather (as in
I have a tattoo of a tree. After a long discussion about bird and nature tattoos that was spawned from Jade's wall post (on facebook) I realized that I really dislike a lot of tree tattoos. Of course, I quite like mine seeings as I the design was based on a tree my camp director from Camp Cadicasu drew. It reflects who I am - simple, evergreen and dying. Anyway, most tree tattoos are based on deciduous trees and are much too fancy for my liking. I think people just get them because they're in fashion or they think they'll look cool. Maybe they do. I got my tattoo to remember those recurring summers of my life that shaped me into the person I am and will continue to influence the way I grow. I used to get really pissed when other people got tree tattoos and thought it was this whole new thing, like "OMG, I'm getting a tree tattoo. like, no one's ever done that." I think those people can piss off.
I really dislike
The last time I actually cooked something, I made, err, I baked yogurt & almond muffins this weekend, chocolate & cranberry & pecan chocolate cookies and apricot jam filled butter cookies. Delicious. I cooked some pretty killer paninis on the weekend as well for dinner. I really enjoy baking, cooking and preparing food. I like knowing what goes into what I eat. I like seeing the process. I like rebelling to everything that everyone else does.
