    1. Take your top ten artists and get their 'gay rating'. If you look on the artist page and then click "Tags" you can see how many times they've been tagged gay:

    1 P!nk - 0
    2 Madonna - 18
    3 Britney Spears - 14
    4 Lindsay Lohan - 4
    5 Alicia Keys - 0
    6 Sugababes - 0
    7 Amy Studt - 0
    8 KT Tunstall - 0
    9 Nelly Furtado - 0
    10 Avril Lavigne - 8

    2. Add them all together and divide by 10 to get the average:

    4.4

    3. Then divide that by the average of the top ten 'gay' artists, which is: 371

    0.118

    4. Multiply your result by 100 to get a percentage.

    1.2%

    hehe, not too bad!... :-$

Step 1: Open up whatever MP3 program you use and add every song in your collection.
Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 3: Post the first line from the first 30 (50 was a bit much) songs that play, no matter how embarassing.
Step 4: Post and let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 5: Bold the songs that someone guesses correctly.
Step 6: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

A list of my first 50 artists I have on my iTunes (or at least those who I have two or more songs by), the first song I heard of theirs, song that got me into them, who got me into them, the number of songs I have by them on the computer, and my current favourite track. The numbers of songs I have by the artists aren't very accurate, because for many of them I own the albums of but just didn't want to put them all into the computer.

  • Diggin' KT Tunstall today

    18. Jun. 2006, 16:30 von rwhiffen

I went and bought KT Tunstall this weekend (Happy Fathers Day to me...). I'm really into it. KT Tunstall. Good voice, melodies and lyrics. What's not to like? Unlike Joss Stone or Alicia Keys she focuses more on the song then her voice. It always seems like Joss and Alicia are out to strut their vocal skills rather than sing a good song. Just one mans opinion...

    Cheers,

  • Hikin' Through My Music Collection Vol. 1

    13. Jun. 2006, 4:01 von gotz_pierced

I've made a decision to listen through my entire cd collection and comment on each album, all for your reading displeasure. There really isn't going to be any order to what album I listen to except for how they're organized in my cd binders. It'll probably be boring and uninteresting but...what the hell? Here we go:

    Euromix Vol. 1 Released: 2002
I think I got this album through Columbia House and the only real reason I got it was for Anggun's Snow On The Sahara, as Anggun has one of the most amazing, powerful voices I've ever heard and Snow On The Sahara is a gorgeous song. Knowing that it would be a remix, I was hoping it wouldn't get trashed too badly. And while it's not great, it's not horrible either.

Obviously, this is a dance album. There are some interesting tracks on here though:
    Ugo Farell - Preces Meæ
Kind of a dancey opera-esque song. Different for sure. So different I kinda like it.

Boris; DJ Xam - Last Train to Ibiza
  • Albums I own by A and B artists

    10. Jun. 2006, 22:50 von ms-jojo

Obviously I'm bored again, so I decided to list and comment on the albums I own by artists with names starting with A and B. But bear with me here - they're a bit outdated since I got my mp3 player.

    Aquarium
The only song I can remember by Aqua without looking at a list or whatever, is Barbie Girl. I don't think there's anyone who was alive in the '90s that hasn't ever heard this song. But let's just refresh the minds of those who can't quite remember: "I'M A BARBIE GIRL IN A BARBIE WORLD! LIFE IS PLASTIC, IT'S FANTASTIC! YOU CAN BRUSH MY HAIR, UNDRESS ME EVERYWHERE! IMAGINATION, LIFE IS YOUR CREATION!" Remember now? I have to say that purchasing this album was a complete waste of money.

    Songs in A Minor
Alica Keys has an amazing voice, plus she's awesome on the piano too. I really like Fallin', A Woman's Worth, and Butterflyz. The other songs don't really appeal to me though.

    The Diary of Alicia Keys
My favourite song on this album is If I Ain't Got You, and Karma is a really good too. …
