I have no hate for Kanji. Its just that people's own mistakes with it leaves about 10 fake artist names for every album put out. English is not my native language, but why change the artist when a majority of the scrobbled songs are improper translated titles? I'm not talking about 放課後ティータイム here, but more for individual artists. My snarky comment about weebs came from some people in another shoutbox yelling about their own belief of an improper name. 神前暁 is one of the biggest enigmas. I'd say that the kani helps in his case, due to having two other popular pages for both the japanese name order and the western name order, but then there are plays under 神前 暁, 暁神前 and other messes.

anonymousca4, why the hate for kanji? Not all of us on here are speakers only of English. Also, not everyone that uses kanji is a "weeb," as you so put it. Live and let live and all that.

I'm all fine with the original name here, but I don't see the obsession with Kanji for individual artists. If any of these weebs really got into learning the language they'd understand how while unique Kanji for names are, pronunciation can vary a ton. Also looks out of place in a library with a wide variety of genres.
