If I've understand it correctly, during the 5th of May they had a special live performance which they showed some kind of 3D animation movie. And with that live it should have been distributed a free album CD which contained the complete cinematic score (soundtrack) used in the animation. I wonder if that album is uploaded somewhere... O.o Interesting concept thou, check it out here (with a free crossfade album sample as well): http://www.rokugen.net/special/live20130505.html
@l3xforever: Well, that might just be my first initial thoughts of the album... now a few months later I do partly agree. They do seem like fresh arrangements in most aspects, but I agree in some way that the vocals are sometimes a little overplayed (Anna tries "too much" getting her vocals even more emotional, but it falls short and too exaggerate at times). And also, some guitar leads from Asuke don't seem very good (I mean the sound of the guitar), yes, I know that he uses AmpliTube 3 as a software amplifier and that might be one reason, but to me the past albums (like near the touhou-arrange era) they did sound better to me. But still, don't fail to understand me, I do think the album is well done, but compared to previous works, this one isn't "as good" as I would have wanted it to be... unfortunately :(
@darkonyxswe I finally got 初期Best and I really didn't like it. 覚めないゆめ、無力な僕ラ and サクラの丘 were nice, but overall it was decent at best. Most of the tracks lost their drive, the vocals were too overplayed and new arrangement just do not click for me.
Today they had a live-stream where they mostly talked (in Japanese), so I sadly didn't understand anything, but they did actually record it too, watch it here on they UStream-channel: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/24699596 :)
