first it's hard to get into the music of Änglagard, but when it got you, it never lets you go again... others make a whole career out of the stuff, Änglagard use in only one song, and then there is a lot of material left over :-)

But it does deserve a Heart on my list! jsut for being the very first track of neo-prog that IS SOMETHING that comes with soul!

Not bad for a new prog group...there is a bit of soul there and the craftship of the instruments is great...Something close to Maneige (the Quebec group)...but far from being the very best prog track ever done! I am sorry! A Plague of Lighthouse keepers by Van der graaf generator makes this tune looks like a bunch of students! This is not of course talking of other tracks by VDGG or King Crimson or even Caravan or Kevin Ayers's confessions of Doctor Dream and others songs from the bottom of the well! And What about Flight by Peter Hammill ? (even if his drum is lousy) No it's a good song ...very interesting but far from the top of The giants! Is Supper's ready? in your Genesis?

Atomic Rooster have such a solid drummer . Wether the type of drum and the style that he plays works so well is the answer I'm not really sure. It sounds great anyways. The beat is fantastic. The organ playing is also very good.An excellent all round sound to this track. I liked it very much. Almost as much as " Devils Answer".

This band is also highly constructive and innovative. However the combination on this track does not quite come off. I am sure that they probably have other tracks that do. I hear E.L.P. Focus and Yes styles in there. They really need their own. I love the acoustic guitar combined with the synthesiser sections.

Totally love this track, so much so that I've ordered the album on the strength of this. Checking out other reviews, I don't think I'll be disappointed. Great prog..... but where are they now?
