First SellaBand Albums released!

SellaBand has just released its first two full artist albums. Rock band Nemesea have put out their album 'In Control' and American singer/songwriter cubworld has released an album entitled 'Step lightly: Create out loud'. Both recordings were funded by music lovers throughout the world, the so called Believers.
Since its launch on August 15, 2006, a total of seven artists, from five different countries, have all raised $50,000 through crowdsourcing on SellaBand. Dutch band Nemesea produced their album with renowned producers Tony Platt (AC/DC, Iron Maiden) and Ronald Prent (Rammstein, Lacuna Coil), and Cubworld recorded his CD at the legendary Bennett Studios in New york, with producers Kevin Patrick and David Kiyanu Kim (Gwen Stefanie, Blondie, Jill Scott).
A third album, by British group Second Person, will be released next month. This album, 'The Elements', also produced by Tony Platt, will be premiered live on stage at Amsterdam's famous live venue Paradiso on August 16, 2006. During an evening dubbed 'SelllaBration '07', SellaBand will celebrate its first anniversary with Artists and Believers alike. On top of Second Person, Nemesea and Cubworld, three more SellaBand Recording Artists will also be performing on August 16: Clémence (France), Lily (USA) and Mandyleigh (Australia).
