Politics release "Love & Molasses" this Saturday, October 16

13. Okt. 2010, 7:42

Saturday October 16 will see the release of Politics' second album "Love & Molasses" on Laterax, home of Doktor Schnitt, Firetime, The Netherlands, Nanko, PiaZ, and Koko Cohen, to name a few.

It is the follow-up to their unanimously well received 2007 debut “Hands Off My Riot”. "Love & Molasses" was again recorded with producer and engineer Remko Schouten at the helm (Pavement, Mono, Coparck, Caesar).

While remaining songsmiths at heart this new album sees Politics explore an edgier, more experimental side of pop adding more crunch to their sparkle. While remaining songsmiths at heart this new album sees Politics explore an edgier, more experimental side of pop adding more crunch to their sparkle.

The record will be distributed in Europe by Sonic Rendezvous and will be available through record stores and online vendors. "Love & Molasses" will also be available as a digital download through iTunes from October 16.

For those in the area, Politics will celebrate their release with a live show in Rotterdam's Exit on October 16. Also on the bill will be label-mates The Netherlands.

Contact Laterax at order@laterax.com for more info, reserving tickets, pre-ordering the record, or sending pictures of puppies.

Thanks!
