Music all round and social commitment are the only objectives for the project entitled: "The Right Compilation". The Project, the work of the no-profit cultural association AnimaMundi - Daybox Records in Battipaglia (Salerno -Italy), will donate all revenues from the "self-made" Cd compilation, featuring both Italian and international artists, to the fund-raising programme Telefood from Fao. This year the highlights of the programme are agriculture and the importance of "dialogue" between different cultures. Telefood came to light in the year 1997 in the form of a concerts, sports and shows campaign organized by Fao apt to "using" the media and the star system in order to beat worldwide starvation. Among others the likes of: Luciano Pavarotti, the Lebanon singer Magida Al Roumi, who became Fao ambassador in 2001, and the Mexican rock band, winner of four Grammy awards, Manà. Every year Telefood events attract millions of spectators and have raised to date almost 19 million dollars in contributions that have funded 2137 projects in 127 different countries. The project "The Right Compilation" will "be implemented" once the 1000 copies, at the price of 10 EUROS each, are sold. Distribution will be organized exclusively by the association itself through cultural and non cultural events under the name of "THE RIGHT EVENT". These do not include any help from record labels and such. Among the artists in the compilation we would like to mention: the_peanuts, guitarist and song writer AND president of the association Max Maffia, keyboard player and music-arranger Lorenzo Maffia, The singer-songwriter ensemble Nicodemo and The Lef from Salerno, the Scambio from Rome, the Israeli singer Talya Solan, the Argentinian singer-songwriter Florencia Ruiz, the Neapolitan sitar player Guido Schiraldi and the pianist from Apulia (Italy) Silvia Mauro.
On 02/07/2008 Daybox records made the first donation to Telefood with 1,000 euros that will be used as well as shown by the image below.
