..a very old single mattress which creates the feeling of sleeping on a particularly jagged rock. The frame is also old, falling apart, and called a "captain" or something that reminds one of pirates. Which means that it is unusually tall and has compartments and drawers. However, I'm getting a new bed & mattress & duvet cover etc very soon, which is going to be a double. I wanted a loft bed for awhile but decided against it.. too much trouble getting in & out, as I tend to do quite often.

an old, cheap single bed with a lot of pillows. yesterday evening i jumped onto the mattress and the slatted frame broke. i suppose i have to get a new one now... :(

Twin, but with a mattress pad and cover to make it more plush. It's hell when the cats decide to sleep in it with me. You wouldn't believe how a tiny cat can take up so much space.

Really, I wish I had a one of those fancy space age ones, I would never ever get out of bed again.

I miss my bed! Right now, during the week, I'm sleeping in this screechy old single bed and it's making me miss my comfortable, covered in pillows and many other lovely things twin bed at home. My mattress is king and pwns The Universe. *insert missing-bed-and-cat tears here*

I own a single one but there´s something weird with that bed: I get little sleep or bad/strange dreams in it. I haven´t slept in that bed for months, thanks something, I got a nicer bed where I can finally get some sleep (well, while its owner is away).

I have in fact two beds! (I rule!!! XD)
Bed one is for sleeping: It's pretty small and in our narrow guest room. When we have guests I have to leave it (Nooooo) and sleep in
Bed two which is pretty big. I use to sit on it listening to music or reading. I also put my suff there because my room is in a permanent chaos.

this is the best post everrr! i will dream of some of these beds! hanging out on beds is cool! sleeping on them is ok. i wished i changed my sheets more often!

but because my room is small, i don't have too much space. that's why my clothes are always on my chair, when i'm sitting on my bed...

Mine is a loft bed. In fact I'd prefer just a mattress on the floor or some other "bed" which is easy fall down onto. I have several pillows and I used to have few blankets but I always got tangled so now I have just one chubby blanket. Sheets are usually very colorful and I have one biiig rabbit pillow!

A single bed from IKEA which I grew out of, I went from 1.80 to 1.90 in around a year and now I stick my feet through the irons to stretch my legs.

Pretty crap yeah, need a longer bed, if they exist.
