    Zuse has stopped working

Starting yesterday, 2/12 I get "Zuse has stopped working..." no matter what I try. I have tried new and old versions of Zuse, I tried moving the folder to the Zune folder, running as admin, etc. etc.

Anyone else running into problems? Know any options?

    it's the site

What Zuse, old and new versions do, is check against the website for updates, and if you check zusefm.org, it's down and hence the ability for any of us to scrobble, if the original coder is listening, please, PLEASE remove this, and if you can find a way to release an old copy of 1.9.7 64 bit, which is the only copy that works for me, without this stupid update check when your website suddenly stops loading for some of us

What a bummer! Hopefully it comes back soon.

  • It's working for me but it's really spotty... only scrobbles certain tracks.

I had a same problem (Win7 64bit) but ZuseSetup-1.9.6-fixed.exe seems to work great.

    Fix for 64-bit installer issue

Here's how I fixed this problem on Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) running Last.fm v1.5.4.27091.

I installed the ZuseSetup-1.9.7-64bit.exe -- but attempting to run Zuse (even as Administrator) resulted in the "Zuse has stopped working" message.

I then tried installing the latest Zuse-v1.9.7.3.exe -- I guess this is 32-bit, as the files were installed in "Program Files (x86)/Zune" -- that's the wrong location for 64-bit Windows. However, I noticed that some of those files were not installed by the 64-bit installer I had run previously...

...so I simply moved all of the Zuse files from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zune" over to "C:\Program Files\Zune", overwriting the previously installed Zuse files.

After doing that, Zuse seems to be working flawlessly. My guess is that the 64-bit .exe download may simply be missing some files? So, try downloading the 32-bit version and moving the files manually.
