Yup, have this same problem. 1.9.6 crashed on startup for me too.

  • It's still the same problem as 1.9.7.1, I was using 1.9.7 as it did not have the problem but now it crashes on start up.

  • hmm for me it seems it is always one song behind on the scrobbling unless i manually skip.

(the download bug has been fixed though yay!)

  • Same thing here.

yeah i have this same problem! can anyone find a fix for this?

  • Fixed? I think so...

Okay i think i have found the work around which makes zuse work! Apparently the skipping songs bug is only when zuse has to launch the last.fm software. If you launch it before hand (set it to launch on startup) then it seems to work fine.

I have only tested this briefly so far. Let me know if it works for you.

(figured this out from the known issues on the zuse wiki :P)

I just noticed that this is happening to me and found this thread. Thanks for your post. This indeed fixes the problem of last.fm being behind one song.
    thanks again

Since the new update for zune (4.7) this trick isn't working for me anymore.
    Does anyone having this problem?

still working here. close all zuse or zune instances. open last.fm app, then open zuse and it works. I noticed that when I use fast user switching it often falls back again and I need to repeat the workaround. still cumbersome but once done last.fm scrobbles correctly. Win7 64bit here
