- Installation Instructions
1) Extract the ZenseMe directory to any directory you want.
2) Make sure that you have installed all the requirements.
3) Launch ZenseMe.exe, set your Last.fm username and password.
4) Fetch the songs from your device by clicking on "Fetch content"
5) Have fun scrobbling songs from your mobile devices.

- Update Instructions
When you are updating ZenseMe from a previous version make sure you "DON'T" delete the "Data" directory,
This directory contains a database with all your previous made scrobbles, skipped and ignored tracks.

- Tips and tricks
* When the songs don't show up on your Last.fm profile make sure ZenseMe is not blocked by your firewall.
* By right clicking on the "Recently Played/Ignored Tracks" list you can select all tracks, artists, albums or devices.
* Your device only saves the playcount from stored tracks, tracks streamed with your Zune Pass or Google Music will not count.

*(?) If all the songs show up with a playcount of 0 it means your device does not support playcount information or is set to MSC.

For those who still getting errors - Make sure you have installed this - Requirements * .NET Framework 4 (Fixes System.Web error) - Download: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17718 (or un-install and install again) or this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 . Btw ZenseMe works perfect, i can finally scrobble from my phone.

Everything still works here after fully updating (I only saw 3.5.1 framework only though ZenseMe uses framework 4.0) Windows 7 x64.

is it just me or when the net framework gets an update normally a security one i can no longer use zense me? it only ever works again if i download the framework and the visual one and repair them back to their original state? cos like isn't it bad not to have the security updates? :)

wah-oh, I am getting this error here. I have my zune software closed. after getting this error a few times, I dumped data, let it create a new clean database, then reinserted all. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. You can right mouse click on the list to select all songs or certain artists.

ill soon continue working on ZenseMe again, maybe there's something I'm seeing over my head, I tested the current version on Win XP, Win7 (32bit and 64bit) and Win8 DP/CP. and they all worked fine here.

Zune software isn't running. I don't use Songbird and I still get the same error. In fact, I tried it on a clean virtual machine and still the error pops up. I tried with my brother's Lumia 710 and it won't connect to his either! Yep, all times I made sure to run it as administrator.

Seems like the device is already in use? Make sure Zune Software, Songbird or any other program using your phone is not running in the background! If this is not the problem try running ZenseMe as administrator (Right click on ZenseMe.exe and click on "Run as Administrator")

I haven't been able to connect my Windows Phone (HTC HD7) to ZenseMe. Yes, I have downloaded/installed both requirements - .NET Framework 4 and Visual C++ 2012 x86 & x64. Have a look at the error report http://ideone.com/gsIjJ My computer runs Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

Thank you so much for this… I can't believe that the "social" Windows Phone doesn't support scrobbling at all, but ZenseMe gets the job done. Also a much better solution than having a scrobbler app active at all times when listening to music.
