  Wide and eclectic taste is a great thing to have, but liking "everything" is simply impossible. And I think most of the people who actually do have broad taste are aware of this, whereas the dipshits in Top 40 land are so oblivious to the sheer mass of music in existence that they think they've heard everything because they listen to two songs that don't sound exactly the same.

  Years ago I was thinking my taste would be extensive and that "I'd like everything", but after hearing more and more different kind of music I started to realize how narrow my taste in genres actually was.
