Which band most excites you this year?

For me to see Amon Amarth live will be incredible as they have never played in the UK since I got into them. Also Morbid Angel and Vreid..

Korpiklaani destroyed everything. Especially me and my poor arms, hehe.
I loved all the bands I saw this year, it was really great.

I was really looking forward to Amon Amarth, but they kinda disappointed me.
I enjoyed it, but I do think that Johann shhould stop saying fuck and trying to be the grimm and evil viking all the time. It annoyed me somewhat.
In Extremo was kinda cool, but way overcrowded, just like Korpiklaani.

The fact that nobody understands you, doesn't make you an artist

I really liked die apokalyptischen reiter even if i had a bad place in the crowd (I'm tall but the guys all around me were much taller than me... so i saw nothing) i think one of the bigger stages would have been better for the gig.. but it was awesome (didn't know them before but now i wan't to hear more)
Another gig I really liked was Subway to Sally... the mood was so great... but in my eyes they had not enough time for their gig... hope they are coming to our neighbour town on their next tour...
Ans shure.. In Extremo had a great gig too... and I was standing in the third row.. yeah ;) ... but I hated the daylight ;)
Even if it's not the kind of metal I'm listening to I really enjoyed Amon Amarth.. don't know why but it was great ;)

I'm looking forward to next years festival :)

I loved Finntroll and Emperor. Most things were very enjoyable. Only opeth was pretty boring (last time I saw them before wacken they were way more fun) I just don't like Whitesnake and I saw Soulfly for the third time in 4 months, so I wasn't interested at all in them.

Last Time Arch Enemy was brilliant, even though they played at midday. Wintersun, Bodom and Amon Amarth were great too. I liked Six Feet Under as well. The Line Up was much better than it will be this year...

This year I'm looking forward to see In Flames !!!

so far for 2007 i mostly want to see:

Iced Earth, Blind Guradian, Chthonic, Norther and Rage. Looks like most of the bands are fucking ace though which is cool.

(Edit: Immortal and Stratovarius will be amazing too, i just know it)

In 06 the highlights for me were:
Emperor, Ministry, Battlelore, Korpiklaani and Scorpions (Well night to remember in general was good i thought)
