How have you 'discovered' Volbeat?

First a artical in a newspaper that I ignored, but that was the first time I saw the name Volbeat... The first time I listened to it was the time that I woke up with it becouse my little brother played it really loud ;)

I saw the review from Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil in the german Rock Hard magazine, and I thought "Hmm, let´s give it a try."

And than it happened :D

Saw an ad for several new albums in the newspaper. Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood was one of those albums.

I first saw volbeat at lowlands festival 2008 in the Netherlands. I thought well this is very refreshing music for a change, a new type of metal so to speak. I really liked the track: 'I only want to be with you', and i think there version is even better then the original.

Nice quote from the concert: 'No this is not beer, its applejuice'

There all goody 2 shoes, yeah right :)

I read the MetalHammer news one year ago and there has been a CD with the latest realeases, I discovered Rock The Rebel/Metal The Devil as I heard the promo Song The Human Instrument. I loved it and bought the album as I went to the musicstore in the holidays, since this time I'm infected, I'll visit the concert at Tuesday =D

I heard the cover "I only wanna be with you" on the radio, don't remember when, maybe a year ago? I thought it was awesome, but I didn't do much yet...

Then little after that I heard Sad Man's Tongue from the radio and I had to get the album... Now I have all the albums, of course! I haven't seen them live YET, although they've been touring around Finland like 10000 times, but next June, oh yeah, it's gonna happen ;)

i've saw them on Premiere 2007, there was a Wacken-Special and they've shown some concerts, also Volbeat. And so, I love them =D I Hope I'll see them on a Headliner-Tour through Germany *__*

They were the opening act for Metallica last Monday,so I figured I'd check their music out first.
They're top 3 on my Last.fm charts now. :)

I was actually listening to music on my tv (XM radio or some shit like that)
and 'The Human Instrument' came on.
From then on I was hooked.
