The Donkey Kong Country Returns soundtrack is an awesome mix of old and new tunes. I'm happy Retro stayed true to the original, which is definitely a classic!

I think the last VG soundtrack I liked is the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack.

There are only to genres that matter. Good music and bad music.

Myth: The Xenogears Orchestral Album
It's the most recent soundtrack I've grabbed (which was just released 2/23/11). I definitely recommend it if you're a fan of the game, or if you're just a fan of Mitsuda in general.

My last soundtrack is the Resonance of Fate OST.
6 discs, It has some pretty good songs..

Same here. Very good orchestral arrangement of Xenogears' greatest tunes. Highly recommended.

Modern Warfare 3 ost is really good, I actually thought it wouldn't be that great when I heard Brian Tyler composed it but he did a really amazing job with it.

I also love TES V: Skyrim soundtrack, can't wait for the official release ^^

I'm getting addicted to Sonic Generations OST. It's mostly remixes of previous songs, but some of them I'd recommend to even those who don't like Sonic games at all.

Specially a certain stage song which has violins instead of electric guitars this time (SPOILERSPOILERCRISISCITYSPOILER)

The Sonic Generations OST is amazing! Those remixes are awesome! I'd recommend checking out the Bastion OST, I think it's available for free download. It's pretty good. Simple, yet addictive.

Bastion OST is fantastic. I'd recommend Deus Ex Human Revolution OST as well for those who love ambient.Dark Souls OST is pretty good with mostly high-tempo boss battle-associated tracks with Prologue and Great Grey Wolf Sif as standouts.

LA Noire. Especially the piano tune that plays on the PS3 home screen when you have the disc in. I have no idea what the tune is, but I love it. Sets the mood perfectly.
