59% US Philosophy, 15% American Pride, 46% Involvement, and 0% Citizen Status!

  • strange test...

I scored 78% US Philosophy, 3% American Pride, 53% Involvement, and 0% Citizen Status.

What I don't understand about this test is the fact that I obviously agree with most terms of U.S. Philosophy, and many of you also seem to. The test itself describes U.S. Philosophy the following way:

"Philosophy reflects whether you agree with the philosophical foundations of the United States, such as: liberty, equality, democracy (though limited, not absolute), capitalism, checks and balances, constitutionalism, etc. "

If all those so-called foundations of the U.S. were that way, we had a beautiful country with pink clouds and happy people tolerating each other and living in peace. The U.S. government should test their integrity with equality, liberty and democracy. The result would be a shame.

i'm russian, so the results are queer... i guess it's because i do not quite understand how to take this "justified from US' point of view"

  • Interesting to see that the only US citizen to post results from this test has the least "American Pride".

Woah... i'm seriously the only US citizen. Thats pretty crazy...

  • There were indeed a great deal of presuppositions in the test. I am a bit disappointed that I was edged out by only 1 per cent on American Pride, but since it was by an American I can live with it.

Yeah, if only on-line quizzes were more seriously thought out. I mean, I did this one Which OS Are You? and it told me I was TRSDOS. Nonsense! Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm VMS.

You are Amiga OS. Ahead of your time. You keep a lot of balls in the air. If only your parents had given you more opportunities to suceed.

I wish I knew what that meant. I know nothing about computers : ( Is that good?

You are Slackware Linux. You are the brightest among your peers, but are often mistaken as insane. Your elegant solutions to problems often take a little longer, but require much less effort to complete.

  • I think one can love one's own country while still realizing that we are really a world without borders and one human family.

There's no borders? Cool, I'll throw away my passport so. Why are people working for long hours and shit wages in crappy working conditions. They should just move to somewhere with better working conditions and a decent wage, apparently there's no borders anymore. Oh no, hang on, the no borders thing only applies to large corporations, people are still fenced in by borders. Better hang on to my passport, I don't want to end up in one of those countries whos natural resourses, including their labour force, is being raped by economic policy. I'll just go there on a cheap holiday.
