The only thing thats keeping me from linux is the fact you need an emulator for games.. yes yes, I know I can set up a dual boot computer, but I'm on a laptop, so i need the space.

Questions from layman - anyone can tell me, why GNOME 3.6 not works on Netrunner 4.3? I know that GNOME 3.6 sucks but i want try it - normaly i use KDE. Next, after i updated KDE to 4.9 all animations have become slow, not enough smoothly. How i can fix it? I tried reinstall KDE but then i got... problem with grub, i don't know why.

@LucioCarreras: Not working for me. It doesn't seem to want to import my library. To be fair it is massive though (almost 150k songs now) quodlibet and gmusicbrowser are the only players I've tried that work well for me.

Hey! There's a new player called Sayonara! It would be very cool if I can find some testers. There's a debian package as well as the source code for compiling it yourself. I hate 12.04 with a passion, can't get cmus to fucking scrobble regardless of the number of scripts I try. Conky was destroyed, gnome3.x is Windoz Vista worthy of suckiness. This is just terrible on every fucking level imaginable. I'm changing flavors over this shit.

Using Unity here; they do have a Gnome Classic in the repos for those that like the old style. (Gnome 3 themed as Gnome 2). It's all fairly easy to tweak most settings at this point in Unity.

Releases after 10.04... or even 10.10 suck cawk. I mean really they trying to be more like apple or something. Lot of stuff I used is hidden. only two themes and.. 12.04 suck.
