    I think last.fm should make it more clear with tags, because lots of people misunderstand tags as only genre-related, while, obviously, it is not.

    I turn scrobbling 'OFF' if I'm listening to someones library & add good tracks with a tag of their name. I also add interesting looking tracks from other peoples libraries or 'Similar Artists' & then listen to them through my own library. But since I realised that LFM doesn't have very good randomisation when playing my own library I now mainly use tags to identify how many times I've heard a track and to force it to play tracks I've not heard often.

    I decided to leave the listing of single tags to the the groups I link to or the group forum, Pixies Palace is just one tag and not a collection of them. The overview would be huge if I listed every single interesting tag. The Special Interest Tag Radio Collective lists it already.

    your the second person whose told me they found an issue with that, the odd thing is I cant see a correlation between the two in terms of numbers, other then that your both heavy taggers.

    So far I (as TaggingMachine) has tagged 99,058 artists tag . I am now getting an error when I try to tag. I may have hit a last.fm limit on tagging. If I delete a few tags, I can tag a few more and then I get an error message. Anyone know about such a limit?

    I love to find new music and the tags help me rate the music I have found, so that I can easily identify new bands that I want to listen to more of. I now and again though get a bit of abuse from people who like bands that I rate lowly, but if we all liked the same music wouldn't it be a dull world.

    Thanks for taking interest in my journals. I like tag radios, currently I help building . It is like , but only instrumental. The has been pol-luted by people tagging a band because of a single instrumental track. Any ideas for new statistics on tags - please tell then.
