Movies that make you CRY.

  • I start uncontrollably sobbing by the end of Mayerling (1968). I have watched this movie three times and each time by the end of the movie I was 'shamelessly' crying. Some may call this movie historically flawed and shallow and I agree. It's just that I can't bear that last scene!

A Summer Story (1988) is another weepie. If Mayerling makes me cry with its depiction of together till the bitter end kind of love, this one makes me cry for the exact opposite reason, betrayal in love. I remember crying myself to sleep after I watched it on TV some 14 years ago.

Dead Poets Society - Neil´s suicide just makes me so sad. And the end scene - Todd is standing on his desk and says: O Captain! My Captain! I am legend - Neville kills Sam

  • Requiem for a Dream, UP, Mary and Max, Dancer in the Dark, and Noriko's Dinner Table. Those always make me get all super emotional. Haha.

Excuse me, you're standing on my neck.
  • The Notebook
    Titanic
    Stepmom
    City of Angels
    The Lake House
    The Patriot
    The Bucket List

"Blind man who does not notice the beauty of life. Scoop the one who draws in his hands, afraid to be someone useful. Stupid man who does not see the end of the beginning ..."( quote from "Caotica Ana ")
  • Bicentennial Man - has Robin Williams starring in it. Quite a sad & underrated movie, I watched it just then and now I am feeling quite vulnerable. lol

oh and Artificial Intelligence was messed up sad as well, there's pretty much no hope for the main character, he's just living an illusion of happiness but it's not the real deal. Makes me feel empty inside. Waaaaa :( cry cry
