Movies you like, but don't tell anyone about!

You know some thinks you watch that your 'friends' just wouldn't understand! :D

    Memoirs of a Geisha

  • this is kinda like the admitting to a song you might be embarrassed about listening to.i like what i like. movies, shows, music or whatever. sorry. that's MY two cents on the topic. LOL :)

love is all you need! is there anybody alive out there?
  • This thread is a bit of a paradox isn't it?

  • if you feel like I DO!!! YES!!! it IS!!!!!

love is all you need! is there anybody alive out there?
  • is this the guilty pleasure list thread?? haha

  • basically, yes.

love is all you need! is there anybody alive out there?
  • hahaha no one brave enough to face your demons?? hahaha ok these are some of my guilty pleasures:

Twilight Saga: I know is an insult to Bram Stoker, Anne Rice, Maupassant and any other descent author who wrote about vampires before, seriously, but I like the story... not as a vampire story but as a fantasy too sappy love story.

The Last Song: This one is baaaaad.... bad performances, a lot of mistakes on the script, mehish cinematography and Miley Cyrus. However I can say I liked the movie with all its flaws.

Another Cinderella Story: A lame comedy but actually is not THAT bad, and it has some nice choreographys, anyway the only thing I like of this one is Selena Gomez :p

  • if i say steel magnolias does it count? problem is, i have NO trouble admitting i like it. good , quality movie. not embarrassed in the least.

love is all you need! is there anybody alive out there?
  • I have a guilty pleasure for chick flicks and romantic comedies. Most uncool, but I stand proud (in the corner where no one can see me).
I also liked Jersey Girl - more of an interest in a very un-Kevin Smith, Kevin Smith movie. I don't think I'll ever live that down. K

It's Titanic for me. well actually at first I really didn't like it, well some bits of it, and Leonardo Dicaprio either. but now I really like this movie and even unsympathy for Dicaprio disappeared after some of his recent films. He's really good actor must admit.

  • mary poppins.

    "Love actually"
I find hard to admit I genuinely like this romantic comedy lol...with a couple exceptions I don't like romantic comedies in general . The 90% of them are based on the same naive and silly scheme so watching it over and over again in every single romantic comedy I find kinda boring. Even though Love actually was cute, funny and delightful and no corny or too cheesy. All stories show many different faces of love which can happen in real life, and even though in almost every story there is happy ending it doesn't make this film mawkish.

Nobody would look at me the same if I told them I liked Pink Flamingos. It's utterly disgusting but at least I had some laughs with it.
