Hi all--I've been a fan of Doves since Lost Sould first came out, and I'm probably not in their main demgraphic (42-year-old suit, small-city Midwesterner USA, blah blah) but I've never heard a band that crafts such beautifully structured songs. It's as if they've been lifted right from my head. I'm a huge music-phile, and Doves is one of my top four bands (along with Radiohead, the Shins, and Elbow, whom I loved long before the Mercury Prize...) I haven't heard anything from KoR yet, but I'm hoping they retain that unique layered Doves sound. Oh, and I'm a HUGE fan of Jimi as a vocalist!!
