This group is for the fans of Blaze Bayley and his work with Iron Maiden, Wolfsbane and the solo projects.

Blaze Bayley was born in Tamsworth, England as Bayley Cook. He music carrier begun in a hotel corridor while singing to tapes like 'The Number Of The Beast' and 'Holy Diver'. Some years later, he joined rock band Wolfsbane enjoying succes in England, before they was named the best unsigned act in Great Brittain 1991. In 1993, he earned a spot in Iron Maiden replacing vocalist Bruce Dickinson. He relesed two albums (The X Factor and Virtual XI) before he departed in 1999. His first solo project was B L A Z E, whom he released tree studio albums and one live album with. The band was disabandend in 2006, with no remaining original members than Blaze. In 2007, he regrouped under the new baner Blaze Bayley. With David Bermudez, Jay Walsh, Nick Bermudez and Lawrence Paterson as permanent members, they continue to tour the world and while making some of the best metal music out there.

Blaze Bayley is releasing his 5th solo album in february. This will be his second release under the Blaze Bayley moniker (formerly BLAZE). The new album will be called Promise and Terror and will be released on February 1st 2010! For the new - awesome- artwork, have a look at the blazebayley.net forum and feel free to subscribe! Promise and Terror will be available to pre-order from December 1st with every pre-order signed by the whole band!

Every Blaze-era track is better with mr. Bayley! Bruce is a god, but the Blaze-era songs were made for a heavier darker voice.
