mikeedols i just had an idea, how about we make the artist connections to mistagged artists instead, and remove the connection when the redirection is successful, that way, it'd be easier to catch the attention of the last population

I have a question, this artist: Yoshihisa Hirano and Hideki Taniuchi is an incorrect tag for either 平野義久 (Yoshihisa Hirano) or タニウチヒデキ, they worked together for the three Death Note original soundtrack albums, but they didn't work together on any one particular song, in other words, even the translated version of Yoshihisa hirano and Hideki Taniuchi is wrong (平野義久 & タニウチヒデキ and all its variants are wrong) | The problem is how to correct this, the page is just full of scrobbling mistakes, even the track names are wrong, any solutions?

fauxtronic Yeah that's pretty much how I feel. I joined this group months ago, but I give up now. I've even disabled the correcting in my profile. Last.fm need to use Discogs exclusively for a source if they really give a shit about accurate track titles.

DarkMage530 the correct name is "The Black Eyed Peas" check musicbrainz, wikipedia, their official site, and even the billboard top 100. All have "The" at the beginning. Enough proof for me. Everyone do the 'suggest a correction' and flag the title for "Black Eyed Peas" to include "The"

Auto-correct is by users in some kind of mystic voting process so it can be very wrong sometimes. It can also be done manually by staff, but not often.

Can you add a video to a song that already has a video? I can't find a way to do it. Love Hurts has some static image video when there's an official video that I can't figure out. I flagged the video, but doing so seems to do nothing for a long time when it comes to videos.

vs271 I have seen some progress. Maybe 15-20% of the ones I submitted have gone through. I guess it is better than nothing. To tell you the truth, I have resorted using the Universal Scrobbler to correct scrobbles that I believe will never get corrected.

CrookedSmile12 v yes that's how it's supposed to work right now. just post it if you see something that needs to be redirected and vote for corrections reported by others. i'm not sure how many people are actually voting though. i don't think you don't need to report individual tracks that have to be corrected to other artists, because as far as i know these redirections aren't possible at the moment (unless i've missed an update on that)

Zellmo I'm new to this group because I just found out about it after years of complaining of the incorrect auto-correct of artists like Makaveli. I posted that one in the "Reports of artists wrongly corrected" discussion but I'm unsure what I'm all supposed to be doing to helping. Do I just go through that thread and vote for stuff and people do the same for me? For my Makaveli request should I mention every Makaveli track that is incorrectly directed to 2pac? Any guidance anyone can give me on what I can do to help I would appreciate.

Kaltenhoenn Searching for the mistagged tags and listing them became my hobby recently. Should I post here complete and overwhelmingly long lists or not? I think I am doing my best here, but too many reports can turn potential voters discouraged. What is your opinion?
