I think Kamelot is a good example.

"The darkness is a mirror of the depths of the soul. All that is hidden inside us, our desires and our fears, is projected on the darkness."

Dude I dont think those two albums are very proggy at all...

"The darkness is a mirror of the depths of the soul. All that is hidden inside us, our desires and our fears, is projected on the darkness."

  • I think Stream of Passion makes a pretty good use of both. Especially when Arjen Lucassen was in the band.

  • Sons of Seasons & Mayan

Xandria's latest has some progressive moments IMO.

  • I also suggest Epica - "Requiem For Indifferent" is a prog-sympho album.
