  Actually Guys, That's the neighborhood I grew up in and I've walked by the place a million times. Think I ate there once or thrice. Wasn't anything special. The heart-breaker is that the outside is the real deal, but the diner inside is a different place.   another bit of trivia about tom diner, if you ever seen Seifeld, the diner they always ate was suppose to be that one :-) I just saw SV concert in Berlin and Hamburg, Germany last weekend :-)

  as for the diner, I saw it and got a picture of it from the outside when i was in NY visit a friend many of years ago, We weren't hungry at the time so we didn't go into eat, the cathedral down the street was amazing and is the reference in the verse... Oh, this rain It will continue Through the morning As I'm listening To the bells Of the cathedral.....
