Soundtracks. And moody music. Or even better: moody soundracks...
Movie scores can make or brake a movie. For me, an otherwise mediocre movie can become really memorable for its great soundtrack.
I think soundtracks account for about a fourth of my music collection. Listening to them on the long bus rides to uni and being transported to another world is the only thing that keeps me sane while sitting tightly packed between fat, smelly people and obnoxious teens.
Other genres I listen to are post-punk, new-wave, post-rock, classic rock, some shoegaze; anything that sounds dark and moody (and that can alleviate the strain of reality).
Fit into this category of listeners? Go ahead and join the group, and don't be afraid to use the forum (recommend others some music, talk about your favorite movies/soundtracks, anything).

Some good examples of moody film scores:
Chinatown - Jerry Goldsmith
Blade Runner - Vangelis
Once Upon a Time in America - Ennio Morricone
Ghost in the Shell - Kenji Kawai
