    At least
    Danny Elfman
    Hans Zimmer
    James Newton Howard,

But there are so many more (new) talented composers out there...

Music is my oxygen... I need it every second!

  • I like Hans Zimmer, John Williams, James Horner, Howard Shore and a few more to listen most of the time, but there are a lot of more composers with the same musical quality I'll listen some day

A difficult question to answer, since I enjoy the work of a lot of soundtrack composers, even though not every single one of them might be among my top favourites.

Hans Zimmer and John Williams are both amazing in the sense that they always seem to capture the feel of a film and its themes perfectly, and are able to create such iconic (theme) songs. And Danny Elfman's scores are always lovely in their diversity, usually with such twinkling, magical undertones.

久石譲 is probably my one top favourite composer; something about his songs just strikes a chord in me. So many different influences, and yet you instantly know that it's his work. He can do epic as wonderfully as he can do quiet, being at ease with both booming instruments as well as he is with a more minimalistic approach. A great artist, to be sure.
