How did you come across Soma.fm?

Just curious what your story is about how you found Soma.fm?

Mine: I was playing around in the virtual reality Second Life (http://secondlife.com) and flew to some peaceful tropical island overlooking a pirate ship (called Sea Cliff for those who care). SL has streaming music depending on where you go (the land owners can choose to enter a URL of a stream and it will play when you enter their territory) and I heard the most awesome chillout music and when I checked the profile for the place I was at, it linked me to soma.fm

    Been in love eversince! :-D

    Ok, your turn.

    Linux

I think a link to Soma.fm was in the browser bookmarks of some live Linux distribution I tried out, maybe 7 years ago . Possibly Knoppix. I opened it, clicked on groovesalad, and it's been my programming music ever since. I think it's good music to code to as I'm not fussing about with my own playlist, tapping my feet to music I know, nor is it music with lyrics to cause me to think about, instead of the work at hand.

I found SOMA.fm when I was interning in SOMA, I saw a bumper sticker on my boss's laptop, and the rest is history.

And it hurts me to know I’m alone now,
And it’s worse when I know that I chose it.
