the most commercially recognized got all the attention and too many greats didn't make it. not enough swervedriver at all. no early bjm. i don't recall rollerskate skinny or boo radleys or enough of em at least. and rollerskate skinny might be the most complete shoegazing outfit. and yeah treasure from chapterhouse... where is it?? you aren't to blame though, nice job... it's you undiscerning listeners! jk but had to bring justice the ones that popped into mind.

your bands list actually picks up on a lot of what's missing, for the record. where's their love in the list?? everybody check out the bands list if you don't recognize some of them but like the song list. and i got one word for those just now stumbling upon this and enjoying the list... This is a pretty crappy list. Souvlaki space station is not even a shoegaze song. Soon sure as hell is not even close to being the best MBV song, it isnt even the most popular. This list does not even make sense.

I Liked the List + Tape But...

You should do a list that restricts the songs from 1977-1989. Which would sound more dream pop but it would give a better perspective in terms of the evolution of the genre, considering most of these were released after 1990.
