I just installed the great little tool gfxCardStatus to monitor the automatic switch between the GeForce GT 330M and the IntelHD graphics adapter on my new i5 MacBook Pro. It turns out, that ScrobblePod is one of the programs, that demands the use of the more powerful dedicated graphics adapter and thus reduces the battery life significantly. This seems a little out of proportion for a tiny menu bar tool.
Is anybody else experiencing this? I'd be very happy, if this problem could be tackled in a future update of ScobblePod. Unfortunately this forced me to change back to the far less convenient iScrobbler.
