Sadness and emptiness when a talented musician leaves this world. I made an entry here back in Feb 2009 after I attended one of his live concerts at the Nick Cave curated All Tomorrow’s Parties here in Sydney on Cockatoo Island. He was the stand out for me personally. I will add more photos from that concert when I scan the negs to show here. Here is one that I have already scanned and previously shown. I found a lovely eulogy to Rowland here. Julie has a great podcast on her site also. Ok, I’ve drunk too much and playing his music over and over but fuck it. People like Rowland lie unknown. Why do we honour people sometimes only after they are gone.
