    At the moment I am reading Hibernate - a developer's notebook(zzzzzzzzz), but in my spare time im currently reading Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski.

    Iain M Banks' latest sci-fi : the Algebraist ... not pushing any buttons yet TBH (thoug I'm only 60 pages in) , which is unusual

    last book I bought ws Mr Magnolia by Quentin Blake for my daughter Nina :)

    all about the celeocanth...quite fascinating...people thought they ended about 500 million years ago but apparently they've just been hiding...

    makes you wonder what else is down there keeping it's head down?

    Oh and get a copy of Mcarthys's Bar, for a tremendous laff

    good but strange, I've only read short stories by her before and this is like a load of short stories but they connect.

    Just got a few books from the library there yesterday.

    Started into a Hunter S Thompsons novel, The Rum Diaries. Throughly enjoyable so far, about him as a young man moving down to Puerto Rico, working in a run down paper and getting upto his usual hedonistic tricks.
