DIY Last FM

It seems most of my top artists are on the Ultimae label. With the devastating loss of full tracks on demand on April 12th, and the fact that MOG doesn't have much to offer of Ultimae's catalog, my exploration of it was rudely nipped in the bud.

Recently however I emailed Ultimae, informing them of the reduction of most of their tracks here to 30 second previews, but also that Last FM was willing to allow royalty-free full tracks on demand.

I just now got a reply back from Ultimae. They were unaware of what Last FM had done, and said they'd look into it.

I think most of us here are not content with 128kbps bitrate...That we actually buy music, and further I think that the labels that cater to our tastes know this too. Also, I'm sure there are other favorite labels for our favorite genre that are unaware of the recent changes at Last FM.

Write to your favorite labels - Tell them what has happened - Ask them to return their full tracks!
