Sleep, for tomorrow is a new day for the same old routine.

I come home and open a bottle of Vodka to drown my worries away, I light up a Marlboro because I love the smell it churn out, I turn on the television and put on the news because it is like an old friend telling me stories of the world, I watch the lights being emitted by the cars, lamps and the windows in the tall buildings surrounding me through my window because they dazzle me, I listen to the bickering of lovers in the next room because I love the drama that the day offers.

I fall asleep in my favorite chair while the vodka tucks me in, the cigarette kisses my cheek and the static tell stories of the future.
