What made you switch to Opera?

    actually , i'm using opera unofficial with IDM(internet download manager). This fast and comfortable browser that have so many functions , gadgets , and other stuff.

    I've been looking for an alternative to direct IE and Opera have come across. As with Linux was started, the browser also directly Opera.

  • A often freezing Chrome and lame Firefox. And Opera is faster than anything else - even when you've many tablets open ( it didn't freeze just one time) or have other programs running besides.

  • been using and testing every unofficial release of opera since ~2002. That is when i went from hating IE to trying the latest versions of netscape... 6 i believe? maybe 7 but just going off memory. i think it was then a "pc user" mag that go me into opera, or maybe that was a misdirected plug. either way it was opera 5/6 and i have been using and testing and forcing it on my friends ever since. too many ignorant firefox users out there.
