  Well, since Last.fm has changed its design (several times), the icons or pictures are really small. When I created the group, it was bigger. I can search for another, but I doubted it'd make any difference...

  HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! I've been in Perpignan last week, in the Catalan region of France, and I've seen catalan oboes ! I've shoot them, and I'll soon write an article about it, with the photos :D

  hi there, happy to join the oboe group.I play on a Marigaux oboe,Bulgheroni oboe d'amore and cor anglais. most of the time I play with Calefax Reed Quintet. in fact you can find some of our recordings here on last.fm with more coming up. but a lot more on our website (calefax.com). in august we play some concerts in france as well. bye for now.

  Yes, clarinet is indeed different from oboe. I've never been able to even play it.. I'm too used to double-reed :D If you have any recommandation or if you want to share your tastes, please, post as many times as you want !

  Thanks for the invitation. In the past I've played (in a very amateur way) bombarde and suona, but my main instruments are clarinet and various kinds of pipe/penny whistle. I love listening to double-reed instruments, even though I never mastered any of them...
