First nu-metal band?

What was the first nu -metal band that you ever listened to?

I believe my first one was Disturbed

Deftones that was my firts band and still like it. my second band of course was Korn

My first Band was Unloco in the year 2004. I listen to the song Crash when I played Madden NFL 2004 ^^ Short time after that I listen to Union Underground , Stereomud and Noise Therapy.

First nu-metal band

I've heard quite a bit of info (from other named nu-metal bands) placing "SEVENDUST" at the epicenter of nu-metal mania...being aparantly one of the first to detune to drop B and play this type of fusion metal. After seeing them play live for myself I reckon it could well be the case...if not for bad management they too would be on the same level as L/B, Korn ect...by the way check-out some new nu-metal > www.wintergarden.bandcamp.com :)
